The city of a thousand spires with its wonderful beauty and ancient lanes, gardens and cobbled streets
The city of a thousand spires worked its charms on Mozart, Beethoven and Einstein, Now following the 1989 velvet revolution that bought an end to communist rule, Prague is a prime European destination. With 15 million tourists expected in 2006. The city is best seen on foot, a walk across the city takes a few hours with its wonderful beauty and ancient lanes, gardens and cobbled streets at the foot of Prague’s castle. Enjoy wonderful bars and restaurants in the most amazing atmosphere and beauty. The buildings are full of wonderful architecture, Art Nuveau and Neo-Gothic designs.
Property here is cheaper than Paris, at least for the moment. This is because the country was only recently released from communism so it's plainly playing catch up.

The Centre
The centre defined as everything within walking distance of the Charles bridge and old town square. This primarily is Prague 1and 2 but should also include the closer parts of 3,5,6,7and 8.As well as being the historical and commercial centre for many. This is also the most romantic part of the city to both visit and invest. Rentals in these areas are higher but the area offers charming architecture, cafes, restaurants and shops. Transportation is excellent but parking is both expensive and difficult to find.
Old Town
The old town is the historical centre of Prague 1.The architecture of centuries as far back as the11th century has been almost completely preserved creating a magical atmosphere that is difficult to compare with any city in Europe.
New Town
New town is the area that was settled around old town as it spread east from the Vitava river. Partly in Prague 1and 2 Nove Mesto has beautiful architecture from the turn of the century and a more urban feel.
