Sun, sea and sand have more traditionally been seen as the main attributes of the Caribbean islands, interspersed with palm trees and an occasional patch of tropical jungle

The terrain is generally composed of flat, wide spanning beaches that line the warm Caribbean waters, true compliment to the rising hills and mountain ranges that feature on some of the beautiful islands. The Caribbean is popular for many ex patriots making their home in the most beautiful surroundings or simply buying for investment and renting the property out. The climate is notoriously paradisiacal the seasons generally comprise of a dry and wet season with most islands having their wet season around October.

The good news is that the Caribbean island and owning a slice of tropical paradise is no longer the enclave of the super rich and royalty. The various governments of the region are actively encouraging overseas property investment and over the last few years they have been making a conscious effort to ensure the process is easier and more affordable. The legal requirements do vary from country to country
