Buying in Cape Verde
You will need to obtain a NIF (numero de indentificacao) fiscal ID number for tax purposes on purchasing a property on the Cape Verde islands. The NIF should be applied for at a Cape Verdean tax office close to where you have bought your property and is a straightforward process requiring the completion of a form and the presentation of two passport photographs and your passport. There is no charge for the NIF.
Cape Verde's capital of Praia is located on Santiago Island considered the most African island of all. Each of these islands differ from the rest making Cape Verde a country with so much to offer to people of all tastes.
Santiago
Santiago is the home to the capital of cape verde- praia and offers excellet botanical gardens and bustling markets. with an established international airport, santiago offers a range of developments to suit all budgets.
Sal
Fringed with crisp whit beaches, sal is equally sunning in Beauty as an investment protential. The majority of cape verde developments are underway on sal, in particular the town of Santa Maria on the south coast. Sal has an international airport and most tourists visit sal.
